1. Chinese universities normally provide western style dormitory on campus for international students. It is either for two students to share one room, or for one student to has his/her own room. The room is usually furnished with modern amenities such as shower, AC, WIFI, television, public laundry and shared kitchen.

2. Dormitory buildings are normally very safe as they are under the university’s security watch as well as the building’s own management.

3. University accommodation is the most economic way for full-time students as the price is a lot lower than normal rent. It is the student benefit that you should not miss.

4. Living on campus saves you a lot of time as it is close to labs/class buildings and school gyms. You can plan your day a lot easier with more time to sleep and to social with students from multiple countries.

Food and Beverage

1. You can nearly get everything you need from the university diners as they provide a number of food options for different religions and traditions. Since you are in a country that is proud of its gourmet creativity, you will come across all kinds of cuisines from food festivals, anniversary fairs and new school restaurant opening.
2. Food provided by university is safe and cheap as the universities are under strict supervision by the government. The price is usually 50% of market price. The source of ingredients is chased by government.

Medical Care

1. Chinese universities have 24hr school clinic available. As a student benefit, the price of medical care is also a lot lower than normal price.
2. If you are suffering from serous illness that cannot be treated in school clinic, the clinic with transfer you to a general hospital. Although Chinese hospitals are busy, they managed to keep efficient. Unlike some countries, you don’t have to wait if you have a real emergency in Chinese hospital.

Social Life

1. You will never get bored on campus. There are all kinds of events running trough the year. Food festivals, music festivals, culture days, sport games, mandarin competitions, drama months, business campaigns, science camps, all you could imagine. Some events are co-hosted with other universities or even national wide.
2. Your own school/class will also organize internal activities such as group tours, picnic and summer camps. You will have a busy and fulfilled year if you love to get involved.
